The separate privacy snib lock can be mounted either below or above the handle, allowing you to lock the door from the inside by simply turning the snib. There is an emergency release included on the outside for peace of mind.
Ideal for bathrooms and bedrooms, this Privacy set comes complete with everything you need, including matching brushed brass striker plates and a 52mm snib and tube latch.
The required cut-out through the door for the 52mm handle and snib is 25mm. This Privacy set is ideal for new doors, however if you are replacing an existing door handle it is recommended that you check the existing cut-out size on your door.
What size rose do I need?
The rose (or rosette) is the round metal plate that sits against your door behind the lever handle.
Selecting the correct size is more straightforward than you may think:
Do you have new doors with no holes?
If so – you can use whichever size you like. Simple!
Do your doors have existing holes in them?
Once you’ve confirmed the hole size, choose from these two common ranges:
- 25–45 mm holes? Use a 52 mm rose.
- 50–54 mm holes? Use a 63 mm rose.
